''Experimental Bacteriology: in Its Applications to the Diagnosis, Epidemiology, and Immunology of Infectious Diseases'' is a textbook on bacteriology and infectious diseases, aimed at medical students and practitioners, that has been published in numerous editions in several languages. It was one of the most authoritative works in microbiology in the first half of the 20th century.〔"(Hetsch, Heinrich )," in ''Neue Deutsche Biographie'', 1972, Vol. 9 p. 29〕 Its original authors are Wilhelm Kolle and Heinrich Hetsch, and it is frequently referred to as "Kolle-Hetsch." Hans Schlossberger (1887–1960) subsequently took over as editor.
